ABOUT ME

I have been a passionate educator for 30 years and love my role as Headteacher. Having the opportunity to cultivate a garden where each member of our community may belong and flourish, is the greatest privilege I could ever wish for.

I have experienced the fear leading to migraines and sleepless nights that can be associated with the role of Headteacher but, through embarking on a personal learning journey, have found ways to leave this behind and to live and lead from joy.

I am first and foremost a learner, seeking to constantly improve how I show up in the world personally and professionally. I learn from valued friends and colleagues, listen avidly to books and podcasts and from the feedback within the school that I am a part of.

At a time when teachers and leaders are leaving this profession, the St. Ebbe’s team are going from strength to strength because of the joyful learning culture that we have created. Our teachers and leaders embrace their roles with positivity and creativity and tell me that they love their jobs.

Gone are my migraines and sleepless nights. I feel healthy and well and I am here to help you expedite your personal process from fear to joy: it is possible and you don’t have to figure this out by yourself.

I think school leaders are incredible and I will do everything I can to help you reclaim the joy that you, your team and the children deserve to feel .
